Throw a Coin Rarity List: All 24 Tiers in Order 2026

Every Throw a Coin rarity tier from Common to Galactic, listed in order with the items that drop in each band and the coin you need to roll that band from the magic fountain.

The Throw a Coin rarity list is a 24-step ladder that runs from Common at the bottom to Galactic at the very top. Every item that drops from the magic fountain belongs to exactly one band on this ladder, and the band your coin is tuned to determines which drops are even possible. This page lists every band in order, names the items in each, and shows which coin you need to have equipped to roll that band at all.

If you have ever wondered why a specific item never drops for you, the answer is almost always that you are not on the right coin. The rarity list below is the source of truth for which coin unlocks which band, and the order never changes.

The Full 24-Rarity Ladder

Throw a Coin has 24 distinct rarity tiers, and every one of them is documented in two independent community guides. The order below is the order in which tiers roll out as you climb the twenty-coin ladder, and it is also the order in which the items sell for more cash. The top tier — Galactic — is reserved for a single drop: the Milky Way.

Two important patterns jump out from the table. First, three of the 24 bands — Primordial, Genesis, Beyond and Galactic — do not have a named coin associated with them. These bands can still drop, but the developer has not yet introduced a coin that explicitly targets them. Second, the top band, Galactic, contains a single item, the Milky Way, and is described in the official Roblox game description as a 1 in 20 quadrillion drop.

The Four Wiki Bands

The wiki groups the 24 tiers into four bands that mirror the four coin bands. The Early band covers Common through Legendary, the Mid band covers Mythic through Godly, the Late band covers Quantum through Stellar and the Endgame band covers Nebular through Galactic. The bands are useful for colour coding and for explaining progression arcs.

Items Without a Coin

Four of the 24 bands do not have an associated coin in the current coin roster. Primordial (Void Compass) and Genesis (Satellite, Time Machine) sit in the Mid band and drop from higher-tier coins, while Beyond (Reality Throne, End of Reality) and Galactic (Milky Way) sit in the Endgame band. These bands can drop from the coins above them on the ladder, but the developer has not named a specific coin for them.

The Early Band: Common to Legendary

The Early band is the only segment of the ladder where every tier is well documented and where the items are common enough that most players will roll all of them in their first few hours. The five tiers below are the bands you will spend your first evening with.

  • Common (Basic Coin): Soccer Ball, Rubber Duck, Alarm Clock, Apple, Traffic Cone. Five items, all sell for the lowest prices in the game.

  • Uncommon (Copper Coin): Chair, Gold Bar, Ping Pong, TV, Trophy. Five items, all noticeably more valuable than Common drops.

  • Rare (Fortune Coin): Cash Bag, Treasure Chest, Wheel, Guitar, Piggy Bank, Magnet. Six items, the largest of the early bands.

  • Epic (Fire Coin): Boombox, Anchor, Gem, Cash Register, Safe. Five items, the first band where individual items start being worth a real cash outlay.

  • Legendary (Volt Coin): Arcade Machine, Crown, Fridge, Mjolnir, Grandfather Clock. Five items, the first band where most players will see at least one Divine-tier mutation.

Reading the Early Band

The Early band is also the only band where the items are ordinary physical objects — balls, chairs, cash registers, fridges. As you climb the ladder the items shift toward vehicles, real-world landmarks and eventually celestial bodies, and the shift is gradual enough that the early bands feel like a natural ramp.

The Mid Band: Mythic to Godly (and Beyond)

The Mid band is where the items stop being household objects and start being vehicles, monuments and abstract concepts. Seven tiers sit in the Mid band, and the bands are wider here than they are in the Early band, which means you will spend more time in each one.

  • Mythic (Aether Coin): Azure Hypercar, Meeps, Nuke, Submarine, Tank. The first band where vehicles and weapons start to appear.

  • Cosmic (Starlight Coin): Crimson Racer, Prism Shard, Rocketship, UFO. The first space-themed band.

  • Celestial (Galaxy Coin): Dragon Egg, Mona Lisa, Sailboat. Only three items, all very different from each other.

  • Eternal (Void Coin): Ornothopter, Superyacht, Private Jet. Three ultra-premium transport items.

  • Godly (Chronos Coin): Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Pyramid. Three real-world monuments.

  • Primordial (no named coin): Void Compass. A single-item band.

  • Genesis (no named coin): Satellite, Time Machine. Two items that lean into space and time.

The Mid Band Is Where the Game Opens Up

The Mid band is where most players first experience the Mutation Machine, the Index rolling over into a meaningful passive luck bonus, and the Worlds portal. By the time you have completed the Mid band you have seen at least 47 of the game's 70+ items and you have a stable cash flow from sales.

The Late Band: Quantum to Stellar

The Late band is where the ladder starts feeling like an endgame. Six tiers sit in the Late band, and the items are mostly physics, astronomy and abstract concepts rather than physical objects. The Mutation Machine starts paying for itself in this block because a single late-band item mutated to Divine sells for more than a full inventory of mid-band items.

  • Quantum (Eclipse Coin): Quantum Cube, Impossible Cube. Two items, both cubes.

  • Universal (Mirage Coin): Black Hole, Singularity. Two items, both astrophysics concepts.

  • Omniversal (Obsidian Coin): Infinity Door, Infinity Crown. Two items, both themed around infinity.

  • Absolute (Tempest Coin): Antimatter Reactor, Reality Core. Two items, both reality-bending concepts.

  • Stellar (Soul Coin): Mars, Moon. Two items, both celestial bodies.

  • Nebular (Paradox Coin): Saturn, Jupiter. Two items, both gas giants.

Why the Late Band Is Narrow

The Late band deliberately has very few items per tier. Each band is built around two or three drops, which means you will run each band for a long time before completing it. This is also where the Mutation Machine starts paying for itself, because a single mutation of a late-band item is worth more than a full inventory of mid-band items.

The Endgame Band: Beyond to Galactic

The Endgame band is the top of the ladder. Six tiers sit in the Endgame band, and the items here are the rarest objects in the entire game. The four bands with no named coin all sit in the Endgame block, which is part of why this section of the game feels like a different experience from anything below it.

  • Beyond (no named coin): Reality Throne, End of Reality. Two items, both reality-bending.

  • Solar (Miracle Coin): Sun. The only single-item band in the game besides Primordial and Galactic.

  • Zenith (Nexus Coin): Sirius, Spaceship. Two items, a star and a vehicle.

  • Supernova (Apex Coin): Betelgeuse, Quasar. Two items, both real astronomical objects.

  • Omega (Infinity Coin): Dyson Sphere. The only Omega-tier drop.

  • Galactic (no named coin): Milky Way. The only Galactic-tier drop, and the rarest item in the game.

Galactic Is the Hard Cap

The Galactic band is the top of the ladder. The Milky Way is the only drop, and the official Roblox game description describes it as a 1 in 20 quadrillion drop. No coin targets the Galactic band specifically, but the band can drop from the Infinity Coin and the bands above it. The Milky Way is the single rarest object in Throw a Coin and the entire reason most players chase the Infinity Coin.

Rarity Tier Quick Reference

The table below gives a quick reference for every band, the band its drops belong to, the typical Index impact, and whether a Mutation Machine cycle is worth running for that band. The right column is the one to focus on, because mutation potential is the single biggest factor that separates bands worth farming from bands that are best skipped.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many rarity tiers are in Throw a Coin?

There are exactly 24 rarity tiers in Throw a Coin, running from Common at the bottom to Galactic at the top. Every item that drops from the magic fountain belongs to one of these 24 bands, and the band your coin is tuned to determines which drops are even possible.

What is the rarest tier in Throw a Coin?

Galactic is the rarest tier, and the only item in the band is the Milky Way. The official Roblox game description describes the Milky Way as a 1 in 20 quadrillion drop, which makes it the rarest single object in the game.

Do all rarity tiers have a coin?

No. Four of the 24 bands do not have a named coin in the current twenty-coin ladder. Primordial, Genesis, Beyond and Galactic all drop from higher-tier coins as side rolls, but the developer has not yet introduced a specific coin that targets any of these four bands directly.

What is the rarest coin-named tier?

Omega is the rarest tier with a named coin, and the only coin that can roll it is the Infinity Coin. The Omega band contains a single item, the Dyson Sphere, which is the rarest single-item drop in the game below the Milky Way.
